About DevKitDock

DevKitDock is a collection of free, browser-based tools for developers, designers, and anyone who wants practical calculators, Chinese culture tools, and everyday utilities. Most tools run entirely in your browser; live data tools such as Weibo Trending and currency rates fetch public data, and no account is required.

Why DevKitDock Exists

Most online tool sites are buried in ads, require sign-ups, or quietly send your data to third-party servers. We built DevKitDock to be the opposite: clean, fast, private utilities that get out of your way and let you get back to work.

We launched in 2026 with a small set of core tools — JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, password generation — and have been adding more ever since. Our most popular feature, the Chinese Name Generator, draws from the ancient Hundred Family Surnames to create authentic Chinese names with full pinyin, translations, and historical context.

What We Offer

Our Principles

Editorial

DevKitDock is maintained by an independent editor who started with no coding background and builds the site with AI assistance. Every tool, guide, and deployment step is tested before it goes live, so the site is also a public learning project: what works, what breaks, and how problems get fixed.

Blog articles are written for international readers who want practical Chinese culture and developer tooling information. We use public sources where numbers appear and keep the site free while testing advertising as a long-term way to cover costs.
