What is a diff?
A diff shows what changed between two versions of text: lines added, removed, or unchanged. Diff checkers are used for code review, document edits, configuration changes, and proofreading.
How to use this tool
Paste the original text on the left and the modified text on the right. Click Compare to see added and removed lines with a summary of changes. All processing happens locally in your browser, so your text never leaves the page.
What makes it useful
The side-by-side line view and change counter make it faster to review small edits or copy differences than scanning two files manually.
