Text Summarizer

Paste any text and get a concise extractive summary powered by TF-IDF sentence scoring. Works with any language.

Extractive summarization picks the most important sentences from a document and arranges them in their original order. This tool uses a TF-IDF (Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency) approach: it scores each sentence based on how many high-importance words it contains, then selects the top-scoring sentences up to your desired length. Because it relies on statistical word patterns rather than a language model, it works with any language — English, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, or anything else you throw at it.

Use the percentage slider to roughly control how much of the original text survives, or type an exact word count target if you need a specific length. The highlighted view shows which sentences were selected so you can verify the algorithm's judgment at a glance.
